What You Should Know About Ceiling Lights
When it comes to choosing ceiling lights, keep in mind the type of space you're working with. Close to ceiling lights include both flush mounts, which "hug" the ceiling, and semi-flush mounts, which suspend slightly below the ceiling and diffuse light from the top. These provide an economical choice for general room lighting, while secondary ceiling lights like pendants can add a romantic glow, or help illuminate a shadowy area.
Ceiling lights are a practical way to provide general lighting in a space. For more on using general/ambient lighting, please see All About Ambient Lighting.
